In times of AI, information is available faster than ever, but it is not always reliable or suited to local conditions.
We use AI and research tools where they help, and add what they cannot provide: critical scientific judgement, field experience and the knowledge of the people on the ground. This turns information into solutions that work in real life.
Edhen combines doctoral-level scientific expertise with extensive field and consulting experience. We co-develop knowledge to generate new evidence, strengthen strategies and support locally adapted solutions. We also connect scientific research with Indigenous and local knowledge. Typical support includes:

Non-profit organisations & regenerative businesses: Most regenerative projects need similar services, such as project design, stakeholder facilitation, implementation support, and monitoring & evaluation. Beyond that, non-profit initiatives and businesses often have different needs. For non-profit & development-sector clients, support usually also includes participatory needs assessments, proposal development, fundraising and external evaluations. For regenerative businesses, support may include feasibility studies, marketing regenerative solutions and documentation for investors.
Sustainable development: Agroforestry and permaculture are our key areas of expertise. But we also support broader sustainability projects, for example initiatives in the education, social and health sectors.
Women empowerment: We give particular attention to projects that strengthen women's participation, leadership and access to support. Because women are often key drivers of regenerative development and still face significant barriers.
