Complex regenerative projects require effective management, strong collaboration and interdisciplinary knowledge. Edhen helps organisations and businesses bring these elements together to develop and manage their projects successfully.

TAILORED SUPPORT

The first consulting hour is free of charge. It allows us to understand your needs and assess openly whether Edhen is the right partner. Together, we clarify where and how we can add value.

We distinguish from the outset between non-profit initiatives and regenerative businesses, as their needs may differ. For non-profit and development-sector clients, support often focuses on participatory needs assessments, project and proposal development, fundraising, implementation support, and monitoring and evaluation. For regenerative businesses, we rather support business model development.

OUR THREE MAIN CONSULTING SERVICES

Our three core services address the key needs of regenerative projects:

  • Holistic Project Management
  • Effective Collaboration
  • Regenerative Knowledge

Permaculture and agroforestry is our main area of expertise. At the same time, we have successfully supported broader sustainability projects, including initiatives in the social and health sectors.

We also give particular attention to projects that strengthen women’s participation, leadership and access to support. Women are often key drivers of change, while also facing significant barriers.

Holistic Project Management

We support the successful development and management of regenerative projects throughout the full project cycle. Our role is adapted to your needs. We can advise your team, facilitate key processes or provide hands-on project management support.

Our services include:

  • Participatory needs, context and stakeholder assessments
  • Project concept, strategy and implementation planning
  • Proposal development and fundraising support
  • Coordination of partners, activities, budgets and resources
  • Implementation and adapted project management
  • Monitoring, evaluation and learning
  • Reporting, knowledge sharing and communication of results

This helps your team manage complexity, coordinate partners and resources effectively, and move your project from concept to implementation with measurable results.

Effective Collaboration

Regenerative projects require effective collaboration to collectivly explore complexity, combine interdisciplinary knowledge, and co-develop practical solutions.

This is particularly important in food systems and value chains, where farmers, businesses, researchers, public institutions and civil society must coordinate across different interests and responsibilities.

Edhen strengthens collaboration at two levels:

Within organisations: We help teams build shared direction, clarify roles and improve communication, decision-making and continuous learning. Through facilitated teamwork, teams can unlock their collective intelligence and work more effectively. With development partners: We facilitate collaboration across organisations, disciplines and sectors. This may include multi-stakeholder surveys, partnership development and coordination.

Our services include:

  • Facilitation of strategic meetings and workshops
  • Development of shared goals, roles and responsibilities
  • Participatory decision-making and clear accountability
  • Open communication and constructive feedback
  • Coordination across teams, organisations and value chains
  • Development of strategic partnerships
  • Support for joint implementation, learning and adaptation

The result is sustainable leadership, stronger teamwork, clear communication and more effective partnerships that support lasting success.

Regenerative Knowledge

Regenerative projects need knowledge that is scientifically sound, locally grounded and practical to apply.

Edhen combines doctoral-level scientific expertise with extensive field and consulting experience. We co-develop knowledge to explore new evidence, strengthen strategies and support locally adapted solutions. We also bring together scientific research and indigenous knowledge.

Our services include:

  • Analysis of complex social-ecological systems
  • Coordination of interdisciplinary research projects
  • Participatory research and exchange across science, policy and practice
  • Applied research and evidence reviews to identify relevant findings and knowledge gaps
  • Stakeholder surveys and needs assessments to understand local priorities, capacities and constraints
  • Exploring the latest findings on regenerative agriculture, agroforestry and permaculture
  • Development of scientific and applied publications

This helps your team conduct & coordinate interdisciplinary research, strengthen its knowledge base and translate insights into effective strategies.
