Mission Statement

I am committed to fostering sustainable development and effective climate change adaptation strategies through interdisciplinary research, holistic problem-solving, and collaboration with diverse international stakeholders. My aim is to drive positive change by implementing actionable initiatives that address environmental challenges and promote resilience for a sustainable future.

Core competencies

Sophia is a multi-disciplinary thinker and international collaborator. She aims to combine scientific and local knowledge, following bottom-up approaches with great efficiency and excellent organizational skills.

With a B.Sc. in interdisciplinary research for sustainability and a focus on the interconnection of human-nature interactions, she has developed deep expertise in local and international project management.

Sophia has worked with international organizations such as GIZ and the UN, as well as local NGOs, gaining valuable, practical experience in climate adaptation, resilience, agroforestry, reforestation, sustainable farming, and renewable energy solutions across Europe, East, and West Africa.
